My Name is Mickaela, a 27 year-old small town country girl with a passion for art, animation and animals alike.
I was born and raised in Oregon and discovered that I wanted to work for an animation studio when I grew up. My initial fascination with animation was all thanks to my love of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh. That lovable bear and his companions granted me inspiration!
I am a 2018 graduate from Oregon State University-Cascades where I received my BSA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Illustration and a minor in Business & Entrepreneurship.
I also graduated in 2017 from Animation Mentor’s online school of animation where I learned all the ins and outs of character animation.
In 2015, I had graduated from Central Oregon Community College with my Associate’s in Art Oregon Transfer Degree and a change in major after I discovered computer science was not my calling.
I currently work as a Web and Graphic Designer for a truck bed “walking floor” manufacturer in Madras OR.
I plan on taking online classes to supplement my current skills and add more content to this website.
Right now I live in Central Oregon with my fluffy mini aussie dog Tauntaun. He helps me with my hobbies around the farm including riding horses and raising chickens. When I am not outside, I enjoy playing Dungeons & Dragons with my friends, watching The Office for the 7th time, or playing a computer game with my brothers.
